Our vision is for consumers to associate our name with integrity, value, community and environment; for our employees to be the best at their profession through education and training in detailed processes, new technologies, modern tools and equipment, and fulfilling customers’ needs; to achieve industry recognition for exceptional customer service, community involvement, shop performance and ethical standards.

 

After graduating from Ranken Technical College and working in the industry for many years, Kevin Thomas opened up Kevin’s Car Care in June of 2000. His values of honesty, treating people with respect, doing a job right and with good quality, an eagerness for learning, and an openness in communication is what drives the business and its staff.

Giving back to our community is an essential part of who we are.  We participate in and sponsor charities like St. Vincent DePaul, Walk for the Cure, Alzheimer’s Association and Mary’s House of Hope.  We also donate to our local schools and other non-profit organizations to support robotics programs, sports, Project Graduation, DARE and other fundraising needs.

We were the recipient of ASA’s Green Star Award in 2011 for our recycling and pollution prevention practices.

As a member of the Midwest Auto Care Alliance, we promise to adhere to a Code of Ethics which include performing high quality repairs at a fair price, employing skilled technicians, using quality parts from reputable sources, and having a sense of obligation to each customer, among others.  MWACA also identifies industry changes and provides ongoing training for our technicians and management team.  This helps us stay current on technological advances.

The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence works to improve the vehicle repair and service by testing technicians on their automotive knowledge, certifying them to be competent in their profession and providing consumers a way to gauge their level of expertise.
